In the new Dirty fossil by director Alex Ross, Matt Damon stars as David Banner, an old man with a massive collection of fossils that include pre-historic animals and other forms of prehistoric life. With his help, Julia (Tina Majorino) is able to track down her long-lost friend Sandy (Jennifer Aniston) who is an old woman whose death left her with a head full of prehistoric eggs. Along with some newly discovered prehistoric creatures David and Julia embark on an exciting, albeit bizarre, treasure hunt in order to find and extract these eggs from their harsh environment. This movie isn't as funny as it first seems, and is very much like a combination of Finding Nemo with a lot of heavy lifting done in the romance department. The narrative is very entertaining, while still being a bit maudlin at times, but overall Dirty fossils is a fantastic, light-hearted romantic comedy that's well worth the time spent..
