When old Smokey the Painter returns to his humble abode in Pennsylvania he enjoys his hearty meals on a big table with his friends. But life is not all laughter and nice dinners. The elderly retiree is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and while enjoying his last meal with his buddies, a loud knock on his door interrupts his dessert feast. Dressed in a wrinkled suit, smoking a cigar, smokey's friend leans over to offer to buy him a drink but before he can complete the sale Smokey's hand is covered in mud and his glasses are splattered with paper.
