LACEYSTARR - Cab Driver is based on the true life events of Thomas Lacey, who in 1950 was hired by Raymond Landa to deliver drugs in New York City. Landa would take the drugs and transport them to the site where the transaction was to take place. The transaction was to raise money for a film that Landa was making about an addict called Johnny Torrue. Landa did not mention anything about being a former interracial cab driver in his video, but many people believe that he was because his accent, though not his ethnicity, was somewhat suspicious.
