A month or so ago I was talking to a friend of mine who had just undergone a fairly major and serious dental surgery which involved the insertion of an implant rod into her gum tissue in the hope that this would solve all of her oral problems, including her inability to effectively fight off candida yeast infections, and her recurrent inability to get a good clean bill of oral health. She told me that she had a new chief who had taken over from her good friend and that this new chief was quite the dingus as far as treating her dental complaints went. Apparently this new chief had come into the office very early in the morning and began to examine her face, asking her questions about her oral hygiene, and treating her with some sort of strange medicine that appeared to work against her favorite thing - bacteria. It didn't help that this particular doctor had already treated her with the same type of medication (namely, the antibiotics prescribed by his assistant) to treat her previous infections, so there I was, in her mouth with this foreign object sticking out of her mouth in various places while she struggled not to cough it up or anything like that, for several hours as she tried desperately not to let any of this stuff go down..
