Compilado putaria is the Spanish word for "owl", used mostly in rural areas to describe owls. In rural Spain most owls are part of the farming population, and although not all will be present on your property you will often see them in gardens. The most common garden I have seen with an owl on it is in a small field beside a fence constructed of picket fences. You can also frequently see them in fruit orchards near fields where they eat the fruits that are not plucked from their trees!.
