My Needy Stepmother is constantly bugging me about how her daughter and I do not spend enough time with each other. She also complains that I only spend time with my daughter when she has something to do with me, like watching TV. I tried explaining to her that it is not that I only want to be a big brother or sister but I want my wife to be comfortable with the two of us alone while my daughter is with her friends all the time. She said that she understands but she just wants that we are spending quality time as a family. I tried explaining to her that I understand her desire to be with her friends more but our relationship is too important, especially with her teenaged kids..
