My therapist wasn't convetional; my mom was the first one to tell me that. That's right, Mom was the first one to say "your therapist isn't convetional". Now I know what she meant by convetional because when I used "you" in this statement I made myself very clear and concise; my mother wasn't any clearer. In other words, my therapist isn't convetional because my mom (who was a few years older than my therapist) didn't like the therapist. Oh, sure, I can see her eyes rolling around the room but the point I'm getting at is that my mom's (not my therapist's) point of view didn't support my therapist's work with respect to my mental health..
