I guess being a bit nervous about my coming back to Europe hurt my surprise party plans a little bit but it turned out that my wife really enjoyed the surprise gifts that I brought with me! The funny thing is that when I told my friends that I was "coming back" they all assumed that I was cheating or that something didn't work between us. Mari and I are now happily married and have never done anything that would be considered cheating!
