It has been more than a decade since I last saw my granny, but whenever I think about her I feel a certain amount of nostalgia. I guess it is because I have been through a lot of real life and I can relate to how she must have felt back then. The other day I was looking through some old photographs of my granny taken when she was still alive and she looked strikingly similar to the reality TV star mommy blogs I see on a daily basis. Her hair had started to thin and her skin tone was starting to look quite a bit older as well. Now then I realized that it is not just the reality shows that have glamourised older people, but in fact many of the older ones are still very much attractive even in their advanced years..
