In the United States, people have been cooking homemade dog food for years. The cookvideo Canine Kitchen Capers by Judy Morgan, a holistic veterinarian, and Hue Grant, an architect and self-taught cook, have become a top seller. The authors feature stories of mishaps while preparing dishes, from vegetarians who secretly cook meat for their dogs to starving husbands who sneak a taste of their own stew.
