I find it offensive that someone would make light of the situation that a police officer finds himself in when he goes to a teen's home to execute a routine check on her parents. In an video by Entertainment Weekly, Mall Cop's boyfriend, Officer Richard Renbourn, is seen looking over the body of the teen shoplifter while her mom is watching. The camera then moves inside and we are shocked to see Renbourn, whose intentions are not to assist the girl, but to look for money.
